KINGMAN

Originally mined in 600 A.D. and later discovered again in the 1800s but did not become mainstream until 1950s 

Kingman Turquoise ranges in color from light to very dark blue and sometimes tints of green. Matrix can range from white, light brown to black and have  flecks of pyrite and quartz. Few turquoise mines produced nuggets of this quality. In its high-grade form it has always been considered one of the top quality American turquoise.
